Leadership

Elizabeth Maine joined Seahurst Elementary as principal in 2023. Prior to Seahurst, Elizabeth served as assistant principal at Midway Elementary for several years. Prior to Midway, she served as the dean of students and literacy specialist at White Center Heights Elementary. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Washington, a master’s in literacy education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a second master’s of education in educational leadership from UW Bothell.

 

 

 

 

Jessica Ma joined Seahurst as assistant principal in 2023. She is honored to have been a part of Highline Public Schools for more than 20 years. She previously served as the founding principal of Highline Virtual Elementary and assistant principal at Madrona Elementary. Before that, Jessica was a teacher and interventionist at Midway Elementary where she supported the integration of a Blended Learning model with Multi-Tiered System of Supports. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington, Masters in Teaching from Eastern Washington University, and administrative credentials from UW- Tacoma.
