In kindergarten, your child’s progress reporting looks a little different from other grades. Instead of a traditional first-trimester report card, you’ll receive a WA Kids report that shares your child’s learning and development across key areas.
The WA Kids Whole Child Assessment is based on teacher observations during everyday classroom activities. It helps teachers and families understand what each child knows and can do at the start of the school year, and how to support their growth throughout kindergarten.
You’ll still see updates for Health, Music, and Science in Gradebook in ParentVUE later in the fall. These will also appear on your child’s second-trimester report card.
